Apprehended by God

Philippians 3:12-14 I press on to possess that perfection for which Chris Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prized for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Never choose to be a worker; but when God has put His call on you, woe to you if you turn to the right or to the left. What you are to do and to say is determined by God not by your audience and your own inclinations. Never water down the word of God, preach it in its undiluted sternness.

But when you come to personal dealing with your fellow men, remember who you are - not a special being from heaven, but a sinner saved by grace.

Keep your soul steadfastly related to God.
